Win an entry for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!

I recently shared about being chosen as a Race Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am very excited to run the 10K in St. Pete on October 11th as part of #TeamJudy.

Would you like to win an entry for yourself? I have one entry to giveaway for the Florida Suncoast St Petersburg event. For this contest, I would like to know how breast cancer has affected your life and the impact it has had on you. Is there someone close to you that has inspired you to run this event? I would love to hear your story.

I will randomly select a winner on September 10th!

And just a reminder, if you would like to register and be a part of TeamJudy, we’d love to have you. You can register here, either on TeamJudy, another team or as an individual. Any registration you do helps in the fight again breast cancer. Please support #TeamJudy!

  1. Thankfully, cancer hasn’t affected my family personally. But, whenver I hear about breast cancer now, I always think of Steph. I’m so touched by reading her posts about how it affected her and her family. I’d love to join you both and honor her mom’s memory

  2. As far as I know, I haven’t had anyone in my direct family lineage that has gotten breast cancer. However, my sister-in-law is an oncology nurse at the local hospital and her stories have stuck with me. We’ve had a few family friends (I don’t want to name names for their own privacy) that have passed away from breast cancer & a few that are in chemo treatment now and watching the effect it has on their loved ones has always been so hard. I am not good with that “helpless” feeling. Running races and donating to their charities gives me comfort that I can at least help in some way.

If anything, I’ve gained strength from knowing all the hardships that others have faced and I’ve gained admiration for their family bonds that tie them.
