Another week in the books. We would have normally gone to the bridge this morning, but since Blue can’t yet be left alone, I ran around my neighborhood and hubby stuck to the treadmill with Blue close by – thank you honey!
This was another great week. I had to skip my Thursday run to keep an eye on Blue, but I did it Friday instead. I’m contemplating doing that again this week, because it was nice to have a rest day after 2 days in a row of running.
Monday – normally a rest day but we went to hot yoga for a Labor Day class.
Tuesday – 3 mile run
Wednesday – 3 mile run
Thursday – Rest
Friday – 3 mile run
Saturday – Cross Training
Sunday – 4 mile run
Week 3 ended with a total of 15.07 miles. It’s still too hot and humid, but we had a couple of cooler(ish) mornings this week. I really can’t wait for our first cool front to come through. I will probably still run in a tank top and shorts just so I can enjoy the chill in the air.
In addition to running and cross training, I am doing my own #dailycorework challenge this month. A strong core will definitely help with running.
Tomorrow starts week 4 with a rest day. I have a blister on one of my toes, so it is definitely time for new shoes!
What is your happy pace to run at while training?
