Looking ahead to FLBlogCon 2013

Last year, I attended my very first blogging conference. I was so excited to go and I was not disappointed. I saw several of my local blogging friends there, made some new friends, and came home overflowing with information.

I’ve been blogging for almost two and a half years, and my blog has grown into a wonderful little entity that I love to call my own. I am always interested in learning tips, tricks, and more from bloggers that are much more experienced than I am. At the end of the day, I write my blog for myself, kind of a scrapbook of my life, if you will. The posts I write and share are for me to look back on, to read about my accomplishments, keep myself accountable, and more. The fact that people are interested in reading my posts and following along is a bonus. A huge bonus.

I just registered to attend FLBlogCon again this year. And most exciting, hubby is going with me! He is interested in learning more to help grow his blog as well. This year’s conference is at Full Sail Studios in Winter Park, so it’s a different venue that last year. Doesn’t it look cool?

I am excited to listen to some of the same speakers I saw last year, and to see new ones. I am sure I will see some of my local blogging friends there again this year. And as I’ve become much more active in the land of social media, there are bloggers who I hope to meet there. Over the next few weeks, I’ll look over the agenda and decide which topics are most important to me. I am very much looking forward to it.

Here are my recaps from last year’s experience at FLBlogCon:

Have you attended a blogging conference? Will you attend FLBlogCon this year? What is your #1 reason for attending a blog conference?

    1. Hi Joanna! FLBlogCon is the only blogging conference I have actually been to. It was just the right amount of people, discussions, topics, and more. I am really looking forward to it again this year. I’m not sure where you’re at, but I would research some local to you and check one out. There is always new info out there to learn.

  6. I have attended many blog conferences (mostly food blog ones) and I Love Love Love them. I mostly like them because I get to meet so many people who are passionate about blogging just as much as I am! :)

    1. Hi Julie! It is fun to meet new people. Can’t wait to see your presentation this year. :)

  7. I’ll be at FL Blog Con! It’s my first blog con, but I can’t wait to learn and meetup with other bloggers.
