Goalgetter2013 – How did I do in September?
Today is the last day of September, so it’s time to wrap up my goal for this month. Following on the heels of the #AugustCoreFocus challenge I did, I knew I wanted to keep up with core work and created my own #dailycorework challenge.
The first have of the month, I didn’t miss a day. The second half of the month I was not as dedicated to this challenge as I wanted to be since it was a busier time for me, but I still managed to complete my #dailycorework about half the time.
The result is, I feel like my core is getting much stronger. Not only does it help with my running, but it is important for my lower back. I’m knocking on wood as I type this, but I am always mindful of my back and always very careful to not doing anything to hurt myself.
I will likely continue to do core work for continued benefits. Not only is it good for my core, but when I do two planks a day, it also helps tone my arms.
And because I am such a geek when it comes to this stuff, I kept track of the whole month. This girl loves visuals.
