Daughtry in concert… Again!

This past Saturday, we saw Daughtry in concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, who was performing with 3 Doors Down. Considering we bought our tickets weeks after they went on sale, we ended up with great seats! We weren’t sure who was performing first, so when we learned it was Daughtry, we were happy since we had an early wake-up call the next morning.

We arrived early and enjoyed a beer and popcorn while we waited. I jokingly posted this photo on Facebook and Twitter, mentioning that this was my carb-loading for the Gasparilla 8K the next morning…

I’m going to let my pictures doe all the talking here, since they came out pretty great…. They sang so many of my favorite songs, I really enjoyed the show.

Unfortunately, we did not stay for the 3 Doors Down. It was 10:30 before Daughtry finished and we had to get home and get some sleep so we could get up at 5am the next morning. I would have loved to see 3 Doors down, but it was just too late. HOWEVER!!!! Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down did come out and sing a song with Daughtry and it was so awesome!! They did a cover of Phil Collin’s “In The Air Tonight”. I loved it. This clip isn’t from the concert, but I found it on YouTube to share it with you. It’s a must watch!

Here is my post from when we last saw Daughtry back in April 2012… What a great night!

Who is your favorite artist or band to see in concert? Do you have a favorite location for concerts?

  1. I wish I could see Pink with my husband and friends tonight, but can’t since I need to hang with the kiddos for their school night. (Homework, dinner, gymnastics, etc.).

I loved watching Weezer back in the day, though.

  2. Looks like you had a blast. I like Daughtry and wouldn’t mind seeing him/them in concert. I used to love going to concerts and I still do, but I can never find anyone to go with, ugh! :)

  3. It’s been years since I went to a concert just can’t afford it the last one I went to I won tickets to……..
