Who doesn’t love a Currently post? It’s fun to see who is into what and also a fun reminder later on to look back and see what I was up to. My friend and fellow Best Damn Race ambassador Haley shared a Currently post last week and it reminded me that I haven’t done one in a while.
Eating: In my constant battle to be more healthy than not, I recently made a delicious macaroni and cheese dish. If you like buffalo chicken AND macaroni and cheese, this is for you. And, it is healthy thanks to the ingredients I used. You can find my recipe here. If you love melty cheesy goodness, you will love this.
Listening: Since we just saw Dierks Bentley in concert last week, I can’t stop listening to him. It was the first time I’ve ever seen him in concert and it was an awesome show! It certainly doesn’t help that he is easy to look at (!!!!), but I also love his music. This is my favorite song by him right now….
Loving: Time spent with my niece. It’s so fun to watch Autumn grow up and get to do fun stuff with her. We shop, we color, we make crafts, we have sleepovers, and we are just plain silly together. We took her to the Florida Aquarium on Friday and had so much fun. She is all about sharks and she had a great time on the sprayground area they have there.
Reading: I have ready so many good books lately and I recently upped my goal of 30 books for the year to 50. I highly recommend A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron, as well as the follow-up book A Dog’s Journey. Both of them touched my heart so much and I know that I will read these books again. Thinking: I cannot stop thinking about the anniversary get-away that hubby and I have planned for October. It will be our 14th anniversary and we will spend 4 days and 3 nights at Cabana Bay Resort at Universal Studios. We LOVE it there and always have so much fun. CANNOT WAIT.
Wearing: The struggle is real, folks. I just want to wear yoga pants ALL. THE. TIME.
Wanting: To find my willpower. Have you seen it? If you have, can you send it back? All joking aside, I cannot seem to get my determination back to be consistent with being active and eating more good-for-me food and less bad-for-me junk. It’s hard.
Needing: I honestly can’t think of anything I “need” right now. But, I do have my eyes on a set of Prismacolor pencils for my current coloring obsession. They are NOT cheap, though, so they will likely not find their way home with me anytime soon.
