Chances are, cereal has been part of your diet at one time or another. It’s convenient and an easy go-to breakfast. I happen to love cereal but not the calories and sugar that comes with it. When I heard about the new Quest Beyond Cereal Bars, I was very excited to try them.
Unlike regular cereal made from grains, Beyond cereal is made from protein! The Quest ‘Beyond Cereal’ Bar has all the sweet, comforting crunch of a junk food cereal bar, but with the incredible nutritional profile you know you can expect from Quest. It’s a bar for the kid in all of us who loves cereal, but dares to dream beyond the ordinary.
Each bar contains: 12g protein, only 110 calories, only 2-3g net carbs, 6-7g fiber and 8g of Allulose, a new naturally occurring sweetener that is found in figs, raisins & dates. Allulose is not metabolized like regular sugar.
With three flavors to choose from, there is something for everyone. Cinnamon Roll, Waffle, and Chocolate. The waffle smells just like homemade waffles which I love! And the cinnamon roll, well if you’re a fan of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, you will love this!
I shop at my local Vitamin Shoppe and they had the Quest Beyond Cereal Bars right up front. The best thing I can do for my busy days is to be prepared. Now that I am working a very early shift at the gym during the week, this will be the perfect breakfast to have, keep me full, and not have the added sugar that most other bars have. Needless to say, I stocked up on several of the bars for my upcoming week.
Since I am down 13.5 pounds since the beginning of the year and I am on a mission to hit my goals, I am very focused on eating smart. Eating 6-7 small meals a day means planning ahead. Knowing that I can easily grab a Quest Beyond Cereal Bar, not to mention their other products, is a huge help in my journey.
When my alarm goes off at 4am tomorrow and I head to the gym for my early shift at the front counter, you can bet I’ll have a Quest Beyond Cereal Bar in my bag.

Breakfast bars have a place in the diet of those who do not have time for breakfast, hell I usually pack some in Leo’s lunch box for him to have during the day at school as well
